[1941] I and Sāriputta and Moggallāna and Kassapa,
Anuruddha, Puṇṇa, and Ānanda — we were then the seven brothers.
Uppalavaṇṇā [2] was the sister, Khujjuttarā was then the slave woman,
Citta the householder was the slave, Sātāgira was then the yakkha.
Pālileyya was then the elephant, Madhuda the excellent monkey,
Kāḷudāyī was then Sakka. Thus should you bear this Jātaka in mind.
