Surucijātaka

[1946] Ascetics and brahmins, and other beggars (vaṇibbaka) as well, I satisfy with food and drink, ever open-handed (payatapāṇinī). By this declaration of truth (saccavajja), may a son be born, O seer! If I speak falsely, may my head split into seven pieces.
