Dasabrāhmaṇajātaka

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 2018

[2018] Having built a hut in the forest, they have traps made; they ensnare hares and wild cats, and — monitor lizards included — fish and turtles. They are the equals of hunters, O king; yet even they are called brahmins (brāhmaṇā). They have been declared to you, great king — shall we bow down before such as these?
