[2090] Just as birds converge from all sides upon a sweet-fruited tree in the forest, even so do the many, for the sake of gain, resort to one who is rich, having wealth and possessions. Seeing this too, I say: the man of wisdom (paññā) is inferior; only the man of fortune (sirī) is superior.
