[2089] Gaining happiness (sukha), the man of little wisdom becomes intoxicated; even when touched by suffering (dukkha), he falls into delusion; touched by adventitious happiness and suffering, he trembles like a fish in the heat. Seeing this too, I say: the wise man alone is better, not the fool endowed with fame (yasa).
