Sirimandajātaka

[2088] It is not this art (sippa) that furnishes wealth, nor kinsmen, nor bodily presence; behold the drooling dolt (eḷamūga) thriving in happiness — yet Goravinda, destitute of splendour (sirī), is courted. Seeing this too, I say: the man of wisdom (paññā) is inferior; only the man of splendour is superior.
