Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (1) · Vol. 27 · Section 2188

[2188] By righteous means (dhammena) I set him free, without violence — with a village, a nikkha of gold, and a hundred cattle. With his body released, let the serpent (uraga) roam; let the seeker of merit go free from bondage. I give a hundred nikkhas, O hunter, and a massive jewelled earring, and a four-cornered couch in hue like the ummāra flower, and two wives alike in form, and a bull with a hundred cattle. With his body released, let the serpent roam; let the seeker of merit go free from bondage.
