[2349] Taking the tusks of that supreme elephant — lovely, splendid, matchless upon the earth, gleaming on every side with streaks of gold — that hunter came to the city of Kāsi. He presented the tusks to the king's daughter: "The great elephant is slain — behold, here are his tusks!"
