[2380] You and Dhanusekha were both born on one and the same night; both were born here, natives of Pañcāla, companions well matched in age. He has followed you in your wanderings, one with you in suffering (dukkha) and in happiness; zealous on your behalf day and night, devoted to service in all your tasks — for what fault would you give your companion to the water demon?
