[255] May my loving-kindness (mettā) be with the Virūpakkhas; my loving-kindness with the Erāpathas;
may my loving-kindness be with the Chabyāputtas, and my loving-kindness with the Kaṇhāgotamakas.
May my loving-kindness be with the footless; my loving-kindness with the two-footed;
may my loving-kindness be with the four-footed; my loving-kindness with the many-footed.
Let no footless creature harm me; let no two-footed creature harm me;
let no four-footed creature harm me; let no many-footed creature harm me.
May all beings, all breathing things, and all creatures, every one without exception,
may they all see good fortune; may no evil whatsoever come to them.
