[1154] Moreover, in that lotus pond there are many creatures whose resort is the water:
rohita fish, naḷapa and siṅgū fish, crocodiles (kumbhīla), makaras, and susu porpoises.
There are madhu trees and liquorice creeper (madhulaṭṭhi), tāliya and piyaṅgu,
kuddaja and fragrant nut-grass (bhaddamuṭṭhā), sattapuppha and lolupa;
surabhi, maru, and tagara, and tuṅga creepers in abundance;
padmaka, nārada, costus (koṭṭha), jhāmaka, and hareṇuka;
turmeric (haliddaka), gandhasela, harivera and bdellium (guggula),
beleric myrobalan (vibhedaka), corakoṭṭha, camphor (kappūra), and kaliṅguka.
