[1211] "I give to your honour your wife (bhariyā) Maddī, beautiful in every limb;
you indeed are a fitting match for Maddī, and Maddī for her husband.

Just as milk and a conch shell are both of the same colour,
even so you and Maddī are of the same mind and heart.
Banished, you both dwell here in the forest, in the hermitage,
nobles (khattiyā) endowed with lineage, well born on both the mother's and the father's side,
so that you may make merit (puñña), giving again and again."
