[1214] Having heard that word of his, the lord of devas said this: "Not long, indeed, and your dear father, your sire, will come to see you." Having spoken this, Maghavā, Sujampati, the deva-king, having granted the boon to Vessantara, departed to the host of heaven. (This is) called the Sakkapabba.
