[1232] (A hundred slave-women, a hundred slave-men, a hundred cattle, elephants, and bulls, a chariot drawn by she-mules as well, and of all goods a hundred apiece, together with a thousand pieces of gold — he gave to the wealth-seeking brahmin, importunate and cruel, as the ransom for the young ones.)
