[126] "For all the nights that have passed, sire, while I have been apart from you, I bow my head at your feet; be not angry with me, O bull among charioteers (rathesabha). I promise you in truth, great king — hear me: never again will I do what is displeasing to you. And if, as I thus entreat you, you will not do my word, my father will now slay me and give me over to the khattiyas."
