[1268] They entered the delightful city with its many ramparts and arched gateways,
furnished with food and drink, and with both dance and song.
The country folk were filled with joy, and the townsfolk gathered together,
when the prince had arrived, who brings prosperity to the realm of the Sivis.
A waving of cloths broke forth when the giver of wealth had come;
he sent the [drum of] rejoicing into the city, and release from bondage was proclaimed.
