[165] "What destination (gati), pray, is there for one bound in a snare,
other than the great kitchen?
How can that destination please you,
one who can reflect, and who is free?
Or what benefit do you see, O winged one,
for me and for you,
or for the kinsmen who remain,
in the destruction of the lives of us both?
When a deed lies shrouded in blinding darkness,
O bird whose two wings are of gold,
what benefit would you make shine forth,
casting away your life in such a case?"
