[166] "How is it, O best of those that fly, that you do not understand
the good (attha) in the Dhamma?
The Dhamma, when it is revered, shows the good to living beings.
Looking to the Dhamma, and to the good that has arisen from the Dhamma,
and beholding my devotion (bhatti) to you,
I have no longing for life.
Surely this is the way of the good (sataṃ dhammo):
that a friend, recollecting the Dhamma, should not forsake
a friend in misfortune, even for the sake of life."
