[178] "Come, I will instruct you how you too shall obtain gain;
this Dhataraṭṭha of yours will see no harm at all.
Going quickly to the inner palace, show us both to the king —
unbound, in our natural state, standing at either end of the carrying-pole — [saying:]
'Great king, these are Dhataraṭṭhas, lords of the geese;
for this one is the king of the geese, and this other is the general.'
Without doubt, upon seeing this king of the geese, the lord of men,
delighted, glad of heart, and elated, will bestow on you abundant wealth."
