Sudhābhojanajātaka

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 285

[285] "By righteousness (dhamma) and by right method (ñāya), O fair-limbed one, you shall obtain it — for this is the rule: the ambrosia (sudhā) is not to be won by begging. Therefore do I invite you, who have asked for nothing: whatever sudhā you desire, even that shall I give you. So today, O you whose form is like a creeper of gold, you are invited by me to my own hermitage; for you shall be honored by me with every savor, and having honored you, I shall myself partake of the sudhā as well."
