[333] "Truly, those endowed with intelligence and wisdom do not weep— the greatly learned, who ponder many matters; for this indeed is the supreme island for men: that the wise are dispellers of sorrow (sokanudā). "Is it for yourself, for your kinsmen, or for your children and wife, for grain, for wealth, for silver, or for gold— for what indeed, Sutasoma, do you grieve? O best of the Koravyas, let us hear your word."
