[335] "This indeed I do not believe—
that a man, happy, released from the mouth of Death,
would come again into the hand of his enemy.
O best of the Korabyas, surely you will not come near me.
Freed from the hand of the man-eater (Porisāda),
gone to your own palace, enjoying the pleasures you desire,
having gained life sweet and dear, O king—
how then will you come back to my presence?"
