[486] From the time that I can remember myself, from the time that I came to years of discretion,
the deer have not taken fright at me, nor even the beasts of prey in the forest.
From the time that I have kept the treasure, from the time that I came to young manhood,

The timid kimpurisas, O King, on Mount Gandhamādana—
delighting in one another, we roam the mountains and the woods;
by what cause, then, do the deer take fright at me?
