[487] "No deer took fright at you, Sāma — why should I speak falsehood to you? Overcome by anger (kodha) and greed (lobha), I loosed that arrow at you. From where have you come, Sāma, or by whom were you sent, that you, a water-carrier, have gone to the river Migasammatā and come here?"
