[694] "Who, in the midst of the forest with its offerings of flowers,
is this red-eyed one, broad of chest?³
Who are the ten women wearing golden armlets,
finely clad, who stand paying homage?
Who are you, O mighty-armed one, who shine
in the midst of the forest like fire sprinkled with ghee?
Are you some yakkha of great majesty,
or are you a nāga of great power?"
