[82] "Dear father (tāta), I have heard it said that while I was still but a child my mother died; without you, dear father, I could not bear even to live. Just as a young elephant calf follows behind a forest elephant as it ranges through rugged mountain tracks, over even and uneven ground, even so shall I follow behind you, taking my son along; I shall be easy for you to support; I shall not be hard for you to support."
