[821] Come now, son of Gotamī, bind on a crest of lotus leaves
mingled with campaka petals — this is your custom from of old.
Come now, anoint yourself with your unguent — with sandalwood for the last time;
well anointed with which, you shine in the royal assembly.
Come now, put on soft garments — Kāsi cloth for the last time;
well clad in which, you shine in the royal assembly.
Take up the hand-ornaments embellished with pearls, gems, and gold;
adorned with which hand-ornaments, you shine in the royal assembly.
