[853] Then, at the passing of the night, Aṅgati, [having come] to the audience hall,
assembled his ministers and spoke these words:
"In my palace Candaka let them at all times arrange sensual pleasures for me;
let no one approach me concerning affairs, whether secret or open.
Vijaya and Sunāma and Alāta the general —
let these three, skilled in judicial business, sit over the cases."
Having spoken thus, the Videhan esteemed sensual pleasures alone,
nor did he occupy himself any longer with any matter among brahmins and householders.
