[856] And when the king of Videha (Vedeha) saw her — Rucā gone into the midst of her companions,
like a gathering of celestial nymphs (accharā) — he spoke these words:
"Do you take delight in the palace, and by the lotus pond within?
Do they always bring you dainties of many kinds?
Gathering flowers of many kinds, do you girls
each make your own little houses? Have you been delighting in play and pleasure?
Or is there anything you lack? What shall they quickly bring you?
Declare your heart's wish, O radiant-faced one — for even what equals the moon [shall be brought] for you."
