[857] Having heard the words of the Vedeha king, Rucā said to her father: "All this, great king, is obtained in the presence of my lord. Tomorrow, the fifteenth, is the divine day; let them bring me a thousand, and I shall give alms (dāna) to all the beggars, just as it has been given before."
