[859] Having heard the words of the Videhan king, Rucā of lovely complexion, knowing things past and future, said this to her father: "Formerly this was to me only something heard; now I have seen it with my own eyes: whoever consorts with a fool becomes just a fool himself. For one deluded, resorting to another who is deluded, comes to still greater delusion (moha); it is fitting that Alāta and Vījaka should be deluded."
