Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Jātaka (2) · Vol. 28 · Section 879

[879] Savala and Sāma, two dogs, huge of body, strong and mighty, devour with teeth made of iron the one thrust out from here who falls into the world beyond. Him, dwelling in hell (niraya), being devoured by cruel and savage beasts of woe, his body cut to pieces, streaming with blood — who could demand the thousand of him in the world beyond?
