[881] Spears, arrows, lances, and javelins — there the sky rains down weapons of many kinds; wreathed in flames, they fall like live embers, and stone thunderbolts rain down upon the doer of cruel deeds (kamma). And the hot wind in that hell (niraya) is hard to endure; there one obtains not even a moment's happiness (sukha). Who, in the world beyond, would press you for the thousand, as you run about, shelterless and afflicted?
