[912] That Puṇṇaka, having taken leave
of Vessavaṇa Kuvera, the glorious lord of beings (bhūtapati),
while still right there gave word to a man:
"Bring the harnessed thoroughbred right here."
Its ears were made of gold, its hooves of ruby-red gem;
the covering of its chest was of refined gold of the Jambu River (jambonada).
Mounting the steed, that vehicle which bears the gods,
Puṇṇaka, adorned, his hair and beard well dressed,
departed through the air in mid-sky.
