[913] He went to Rājagaha, so delightful,
the city of the King of Aṅga, hard to assail,
abounding in victuals, rich in food and drink,
like Vāsava's Masakkasāra.
Resounding with flocks of peacocks and cranes,
ringing with birds, frequented by flocks of birds,
loud with the cries of birds of many kinds, with lovely open grounds,
strewn with flowers, like Mount Himavant.
That Puṇṇaka, having climbed Vepulla,
the rocky mountain frequented by kimpurisas,
while searching for the magnificent gem,
beheld it in the midst of the mountain peak.
