Suddhaṭṭhakasuttaniddesa

Suttapiṭaka · Khuddakanikāya · Mahāniddesa · Vol. 29 · Section 139

[139] **"They do not say 'purity is absolute'":** as to "purity is absolute (accantasuddhi)" — they do not say, do not declare, do not utter, do not explain, do not express a non-absolute purity — purification through saṃsāra (saṃsārasuddhi), purification through non-action (akiriyasuddhi), the eternalist doctrine (sassatavāda) — as being "absolute purity." Hence, "they do not say 'purity is absolute.'"
