[149] **"He declares all else other than that inferior"** means: setting aside his own teacher, his teacher's proclamation of the Dhamma (dhammakkhāna), his group, his view (diṭṭhi), his mode of practice (paṭipadā), and his path — he casts aside, throws out, and rejects entirely all doctrines of others (parappavāda): "That teacher is not omniscient; the Dhamma is not well proclaimed; the group is not practicing well; the view is not auspicious; the mode of practice is not well laid down; the path does not lead out (to deliverance); there is in that no purity, no higher purity, no complete purity; no release, no deliverance, no complete deliverance; therein they are not purified, not fully purified, not completely purified; they are not released, not delivered, not completely delivered; they are inferior, base, deficient, vile, mean, insignificant" — thus he says, thus he speaks, thus he utters, thus he explains, thus he declares. Therefore it is said: **"He declares all else other than that inferior."**
