[153] **"He, grasping that very view, therein"** — **"That very" (tadeva)**: that view (diṭṭhigata).¹ **"Therein" (tattha)**: in his own view (diṭṭhi), in his own acceptance (khanti), in his own preference (ruci), in his own creed (laddhi). **"Grasping" (samuggahāya)**: having taken it up, having learned it, having seized it, having misapprehended it, and having adhered to it thus: "This is supreme, foremost, best, distinguished, pre-eminent, highest, excellent" — therefore it is said: "he, grasping that very view, therein."
