[173] *"For him, here, regarding what is seen, heard, or sensed, there is not even a minute perception that is formulated (pakappitā)":* For that Arahant whose taints (āsava) are destroyed, there is no view (diṭṭhi) — raised up by perception (saññā), formulated, constructed, and established through the grasp (viggaha) of perception, owing to perception's being its forerunner and its dominant influence — regarding the seen or purity through the seen, regarding the heard or purity through the heard, regarding the sensed (muta) or purity through the sensed; it does not exist, is not found, is not obtained; it has been abandoned, cut off, calmed, tranquilized, rendered incapable of arising again, burnt by the fire of knowledge (ñāṇa). Therefore: "For him, here, regarding what is seen, heard, or sensed, there is not even a minute perception that is formulated."
