[174] **"That brahmin, not adopting a view"** — *Brahmin (brāhmaṇa)*: one is called a brahmin because of having banished the seven things (dhammas) … unattached, such a one (tādī), he is called *brahmā*. **"That brahmin, not adopting a view"** means: that brahmin, not adopting a view (diṭṭhi), not grasping it, not misapprehending it, not clinging to it — hence, "that brahmin, not adopting a view."
