[263] **"He indeed is in the vicinity of Nibbāna" (sa ve nibbānasantike):** he is in the vicinity of Nibbāna — in its neighborhood, near, not far away, close at hand; therefore, "he indeed is in the vicinity of Nibbāna." Hence the Blessed One said: > One should train in seclusion (viveka) itself; > this is the highest for the noble ones. > One should not conceive oneself the best on account of it: > he indeed is in the vicinity of Nibbāna.
