Hence, "'I assert this'—that does not occur to him."
**"Māgandiya":** the Blessed One addresses that brahmin by name. **"The Blessed One (Bhagavā)":** this is a term of reverence … this designation, namely "Bhagavā," is a designation verified by realization (sacchikā paññatti). Hence, "Māgandiya," said the Blessed One.
