[453] **"And whoever wander in the world out of greed"** — **"and whoever":** khattiyas, brahmins, vessas, suddas, householders and those gone forth, devas and human beings. **"Out of greed" (lobha):** that which is greed, being greedy, the state of having become greedy; passion (sārāga), being impassioned, the state of having become impassioned; covetousness (abhijjhā) — greed, the unwholesome root (akusalamūla). **"Wander":** they wander, they dwell, they move about, they carry on, they maintain themselves, they sustain themselves, they keep themselves going. **"In the world":** in the world of misery (apāya), the world of human beings, the world of devas, the world of aggregates (khandha), the world of elements (dhātu), the world of sense bases (āyatana) — hence, "and whoever wander in the world out of greed."
