[467] **The pleasant and the unpleasant, which they speak of in the world:** **The pleasant (sāta)**: pleasant feeling (vedanā) and a desirable object. **The unpleasant (asāta)**: painful feeling and an undesirable object. **Which they speak of in the world**: which they have said, which they speak, which they utter, which they explain, which they express — thus, "the pleasant and the unpleasant, which they speak of in the world."
