[47] **Whatever one should know as uneven in the world, [one should know it] as "uneven" (visama):** "Whatever" — all in its entirety, all in every way, without remainder, without residue; this word "whatever" is an expression of total inclusion.
**Should know as "uneven":** One should know uneven bodily action (kāyakamma) as "uneven"; one should know uneven verbal action (vacīkamma) as "uneven"; one should know uneven mental action (manokamma) as "uneven"; one should know uneven killing of living beings (pāṇātipāta) as "uneven"; one should know uneven taking of what is not given (adinnādāna) as "uneven"; one should know uneven sexual misconduct (kāmesu micchācāra) as "uneven"; one should know uneven false speech (musāvāda) as "uneven"; one should know uneven divisive speech (pisuṇā vācā) as "uneven"; one should know uneven harsh speech (pharusā vācā) as "uneven"; one should know uneven frivolous talk (samphappalāpa) as "uneven"; one should know uneven covetousness (abhijjhā) as "uneven"; one should know uneven ill will (byāpāda) as "uneven"; one should know uneven wrong view (micchādiṭṭhi) as "uneven"; one should know uneven volitional formations as "uneven"; one should know the uneven five strands of sensual pleasure (kāmaguṇa) as "uneven"; one should know the uneven five hindrances (nīvaraṇa) as "uneven"; one should know uneven volition (cetanā) as "uneven"; one should know uneven wish (patthanā) as "uneven"; one should know uneven aspiration (paṇidhi) as "uneven" — one should know, should understand, should discern, should recognize, should penetrate it.
