[484] **"Non-existence and existence too, whatever this meaning is"** (vibhavaṃ bhavañcāpi yametamatthaṃ): the view of existence (bhavadiṭṭhi) has contact (phassa) as its source (nidāna), and the view of non-existence (vibhavadiṭṭhi) also has contact as its source. **"Whatever this meaning is"**: whatever is the ultimate meaning (paramattha) — hence, "non-existence and existence too, whatever this meaning is."
