[5] **That mortal, having obtained what he desires** — **Having obtained** (laddhā): having obtained, having gained, having acquired, having attained, having found. **Mortal** (macco): a being, a man, a young man, a person, an individual, a living being, one who is born, a creature, an indagu, a human. **What he desires**: what he desires, what he relishes, what he wishes for, what he longs for, what he yearns after — whether a form, a sound, an odour, a taste, or a tangible object — thus, "that mortal, having obtained what he desires." Therefore the Blessed One said:
For one who desires sensual pleasure, if that succeeds for him,
surely he becomes rapturous in mind — that mortal, having obtained what he desires.
