[502] **Not percipient with perception, not percipient with deranged perception (na saññasaññī na visaññasaññī):** Those who abide in normal perception (pakatisaññā) are called "percipient with perception (saññā)"; he does not abide in normal perception. Madmen and those whose minds are unhinged are called "percipient with deranged perception"; he is neither a madman nor one whose mind is unhinged. Thus: "not percipient with perception, not percipient with deranged perception."
