[538] **"For their view too is fully adopted in that way" (diṭṭhī hi tesampi tathā samattā)** — the view (diṭṭhi) of those ascetics and brahmins is in that way fully adopted, undertaken, grasped, adhered to, insisted upon, clung to, and resolved upon; thus, "for their view too is fully adopted in that way." Therefore the Blessed One said: > But if one is cleansed by one's own view, > of fully purified wisdom, skilled, intelligent, > then none among them is deficient in wisdom, > for their view too is fully adopted in that way.
