[563] Relying on what is seen, on what is heard, on virtue and vows, or on what is sensed — relying on these, one who shows disdain [for others], standing firm in his own judgment, exulting, says: "The other is a fool, unskilled." ¹ ¹ The Sinhalese edition reads *sahassamāno* [instead of *pahassamāno*].
